TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's state-owned oil company Pertamina announced that the prices of non-subsidized diesel fuel, such as Pertamina Dex and Dexlite, will decrease starting June 1, 2026.
According to Pertamina's official website, quoted from Jakarta on Sunday, May 31, 2026, Pertamina has adjusted fuel prices.
For example, in Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek), the price of Pertamina Dex Series, or diesel fuel, has decreased compared to the previous month. The price of Dexlite (CN 51) fuel has decreased from Rp26,000 per liter in May 2026 to Rp23,000 per liter starting June 1, 2026.
Pertamina Dex (CN 53) also fell to Rp24,800 per liter, from the previous Rp27,900 per liter.
However, Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) fuel prices have increased again, reaching Rp20,750 per liter from Rp19,900 per liter in May.
Meanwhile, Pertamina has maintained the price of Pertamax (RON 92) at Rp12,300 per liter, and Pertamax Green (RON 95) at Rp12,900 per liter since March, just before the war between the United States (US), Israel, and Iran.
The prices of assigned and subsidized fuels have also remained unchanged, with Pertalite at Rp10,000 per liter and Biosolar at Rp6,800 per liter.
These price adjustments are in order to implement Ministerial Decree (Kepmen ESDM) No. 245.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2022, which amends Ministerial Decree No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020.
This Ministerial Decree regulates the Basic Price Formula for Calculating the Retail Selling Price of General Fuel Types, including Gasoline and Diesel, Distributed through Public Fueling Stations.
