Estadio Azteca is the most iconic of Mexico's three 2026 FIFA World Cup venues and the oldest stadium in the tournament, having opened in 1966.

The legendary arena has hosted unforgettable moments, including Diego Maradona's "Hand of God" goal at the 1986 World Cup and Pelé's triumph with Brazil in the 1970 final. Despite its rich history, the stadium has been modernized through major renovations, adding upgraded hospitality, media, and player facilities while continuing to serve as a home ground for Club América, Cruz Azul, and the Mexico national team.

Moving forward to the USA venues, MetLife Stadium is set to host the tournament final on July 19, 2026. Opened in 2010, the more than $2 billion stadium is home to the NFL's New York Giants and New York Jets, and previously staged Super Bowl XLVIII in 2014.

The biggest venue in the USA also features four massive LED video boards positioned at each corner, providing fans with clear views of the action from every seat.

In Canada, BC Place is a versatile stadium which has hosted a wide range of sporting events, including soccer, rugby, baseball, and Canadian football. Home to the Vancouver Whitecaps, the venue features a retractable roof and a massive four-sided center-hung video board installed during its 2011 renovation, enhancing the fan experience for major events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

From historic football cathedrals to cutting-edge modern arenas, the 2026 FIFA World Cup stadiums will provide the backdrop for some of the tournament's most memorable moments.
