Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto stated that Indonesia is opening export opportunities to BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) member countries. The Indonesian Employers' Association (Apindo) agrees that Indonesia should intensify trade within ASEAN to anticipate the import tariff policies of the United States (US). According to Shinta, ASEAN has a more stable and relatively higher economic growth rate compared to other regions.
