TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to visit Lampung Province today, June 10, 2026. Prabowo plans to inspect the construction of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Krui, West Pesisir Regency.
The event was announced by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin after a meeting with Prabowo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday night, June 9, 2026. Budi stated that Prabowo invited him to accompany him to Lampung. "For the inauguration of the hospital," Budi said.
In addition to inspecting the RSUD in Krui, Prabowo has been invited to attend the XVIII National Assembly of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association in 2026. This agenda is listed on the official website of the Lampung Provincial Government.
During the Tuesday night meeting, Budi reported on the progress of three priority programs, or "quick wins," for Prabowo in the health sector. These three programs are free health checks (CKG), tuberculosis management, and accelerating the construction of 66 hospitals in remote, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas.
In a written statement the following day, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated that Budi reported to President Prabowo on the progress of the Quick Wins Best Results Program (PHTC), or quick wins. "As well as other flagship programs in the health sector that have been accessible to the public," Teddy said on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.
According to Teddy, the first quick win program reported by Budi was the CKG. This program had been implemented for more than 70 million people in 2025. Meanwhile, this year, the CKG has reached more than 42.3 million participants across 38 provinces.
Secondly, Teddy said, was the issue of tuberculosis control. Teddy conveyed that the estimated tuberculosis cases in Indonesia in 2026 had decreased from 1.09 million to 1.08 million. "Along with more aggressive case detection in the community," he said.
In addition, Budi Gunadi explained the achievements of the quick win program in improving the quality of services in 66 RSUDs within 3T areas. These RSUDs were upgraded from Class D to Class C to offer more comprehensive services.
Teddy mentioned that in 2025, 20 out of 22 target RSUDs had been completed, with 10 of them already in operation. Meanwhile, in 2026, four out of 20 scheduled RSUDs had broken ground. "In 2027, there are still 24 RSUDs in the planning stage," Teddy said.
He also reported on other flagship initiatives, which included the distribution of 905 major medical devices to 258 districts and cities. "These primary devices consist of cath labs, CT scans, mammography, MRI, and Linac machines," Teddy said.
