TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Idol group BLACKPINK set a new record with their song "GO," which debuted at number 63 on Billboard's weekly Hot 100 chart as the most popular song in the United States (US) on Tuesday (March 10th).
As reported by Soompi on Wednesday, this success also marks the group as the first female K-Pop artist to have 11 songs chart on the Hot 100.
This achievement is not the first for the group, which features Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa. The group previously entered the chart with "Ddu-Duddu Du," which reached number 55; "Kiss and Make Up," a collaboration with Dua Lipa, which reached number 93; "Kill This Love" at number 41; and "Sour Candy," a collaboration with Lady Gaga, which reached number 33.
Then, "How You Like That" ranked 33rd, their collaboration with Selena Gomez "Ice Cream" entered at 13th, "Lovesick Girls" at 59th, "Pink Venom" at 22nd, "Shut Down" at 25th, and "JUMP" at 28th.
The girl group, which also debuted several songs from their latest album, "Deadline," entered the global Billboard chart at number 13.
The pre-release single, "Jump," also climbed back up to number 32 in its 34th week.
Meanwhile, the B-sides "Champion" and "Me and My" debuted at numbers 44th and 65th, respectively.
