TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Antam gold price monitored on the Logam Mulia website from Jakarta, on Tuesday at 08:56 a.m., decreased by Rp10,000 to Rp2,733,000 from the original price of Rp2,743,000 per gram. Meanwhile, the buyback price also dropped to Rp2,527,000 per gram, as reported by Antara.
The price of Antam gold can change at any time.
The sales transaction includes a tax deduction, following Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, for all types of gold ranging from 1 gram to 1,000 grams (1 kilogram).
The resale of gold bars to PT Antam Tbk with a nominal value of more than Rp10 million is subject to Income Tax (PPh) Article 22 at a rate of 1.5 percent for Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) holders and 3 percent for non-NPWP holders.
The income tax (PPh) 22 is deducted directly from the total value of the buyback transaction.
The tax deduction for the gold purchase price, according to Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017, imposes a 0.45 percent Income Tax Article 22 on gold bar purchases for NPWP holders and 0.9 percent for non-NPWP holders.
Each purchase of gold bars is accompanied by proof of Income Tax Article 22 deduction.
