TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR), Ahmad Muzani, and several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet visited the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Friday afternoon, October 17, 2025.
Muzani arrived at the Presidential Palace around 1:45 p.m. He stated the purpose of his visit was to personally wish President Prabowo Subianto a happy birthday.
"I'm here to visit and congratulate him; the invitation was for 2 p.m.," Muzani said upon arrival. The Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Gerindra Party offered well-wishes for the President's leadership. "I want to wish the President a happy birthday, and pray that he remains healthy, blessed, and strong in leading Indonesia," he added.
In addition to Muzani, several key figures from the Red and White Cabinet were present at the Palace, including Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Investment and CEO of Danantara; Meutya Hafid, Minister of Communication and Digital; and Simon Aloysius Mantiri, CEO of state oil and gas giant PT Pertamina.
President Prabowo Subianto is celebrating his 74th birthday today, October 17. The Gerindra Party Chair has already received birthday wishes from various prominent figures, including Anies Baswedan, National Mandate Party Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, and Forbes Chairperson Steve Forbes.
Prabowo Subianto was born in Jakarta on October 17, 1951, the son of renowned Indonesian economist Sumitro Djojohadikusumo and Dora Sigar. He spent much of his youth and formal education abroad, attending schools in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Zurich (Switzerland), and London (England). After returning to Indonesia, Prabowo enrolled in the military academy or AKABRI in Magelang, Central Java, graduating in 1974.
