TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian badminton team is gearing up for the 2026 Badminton Asia Championships, taking place from April 7–12 at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center in Ningbo, China.

At this BWF Super 1000-level tournament, Indonesia will field two debutants to gain experience on the world stage.

In women’s singles, Thalita Ramadhani Wiryawan will make her debut at the Badminton Asia Championships, having previously represented Indonesia at the Badminton Asia Team Championships. Meanwhile, in men’s doubles, the pair Devin Artha Wahyudi and Ali Faathir Rayhan will also make their first appearance.

Alongside the newcomers, Indonesia will field its established stars across all categories. In men’s singles, experienced player Jonatan Christie will be joined by young talents Alwi Farhan and Moh Zaki Ubaidillah. In women’s singles, Putri Kusuma Wardani continues to be a mainstay of the team.

In men’s doubles, Indonesia will rely on seasoned pairs including Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani, and Raymond Indra/Nikolaus Joaquin. In women’s doubles, the lineup includes Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma/Meilysa Trias Puspitasari, Rachel Allessya Rose/Febi Setianingrum, and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi.

The mixed doubles squad features four pairs: Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil, and Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti.

According to an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), the full list of players representing Indonesia at the 2026 Badminton Asia Championships is as follows:
