TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Pop rock band The Script will greet Indonesian fans with a concert at Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK), Jakarta on April 3, 2027.
As quoted by ANTARA on Friday, the legendary Irish pop rock band included Indonesia in their "Man in the Arena Tour 2027" world tour.
The Script will perform their iconic hit songs, such as “Hall of Fame,” “Breakeven,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” and “Superheroes.” They also introduced their newest single, “Man in the Arena,” and presented a special guest star whose identity is still being kept secret.
This concert will bring the full arena concert experience to Indonesian music fans, featuring world-class visual design and sound tailored to Indonesia's largest indoor arena.
The song "Man in the Arena" is the lead single from The Script's "The User's Guide to Being Human," which was released on August 14, 2026.
The Script’s Lead vocalist Danny O'Donoghue revealed on their official Facebook page that the lyrics of their new single were inspired by a famous speech given by former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt.
This song carries the message that true respect is due to those who dare to enter the arena and fight, not to the critics who just stand on the sidelines.
Presale ticket prices start at Rp650,000. Presale opens on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time). General sales open the following day, Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the same time.
