TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) conducted a survey on the level of public trust in institutions, including the president, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and law enforcement agencies. The survey results showed that the public's trust in President Prabowo Subianto remains high.

"The highest level of trust is in the president, at 88 percent, where respondents have a high level of trust and fairly high," said LSI researcher Yoes C. Kenawas in the Mampang area, South Jakarta, on Sunday, April 13, 2025.

Yoes also mentioned that the level of trust in the TNI is at 84 percent. As for law enforcement agencies, the Attorney General's Office occupied the highest position.

"Among the law enforcement agencies, the Attorney General's Office has remained quite consistent compared to previous surveys, followed by the Constitutional Court, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), the Judiciary, and lastly, the National Police," Yoes said.

He detailed the level of trust in the Attorney General's Office at 75 percent, the Constitutional Court at 72 percent, and the KPK at 68 percent. Meanwhile, the public's trust in the Judiciary was recorded at 66 percent and the Indonesian National Police at 65 percent.

This LSI survey was conducted from March 22 to 26, 2025, involving 1,214 respondents aged 17 years and above or married. Respondents were selected through a double sampling method, which involved random sampling from the data collected during previous face-to-face LSI surveys. LSI stated that the margin of error for the survey was approximately 2.9 percent with a 95 percent level of confidence.

In the January survey, LSI reported that the majority of the public had trust in law enforcement agencies. The survey, conducted from January 20 to 28, 2025, only focused on the public's trust in the realm of law enforcement. The details from January showed that the public's trust in the Attorney General's Office was at 77 percent, the Judiciary at 73 percent, KPK at 72 percent, and the National Police at 71 percent.
