TEMPO.CO, Jakarta Jennie officially made chart history as the first female K-pop soloist to score a major rock hit, with her latest collaboration “Dracula” gaining traction across 18 Billboard charts. The track, a remix of Tame Impala's song with the same name, has maintained strong momentum in the United States for over a month, according to Forbes.

The song’s rise has been amplified by viral traction on TikTok, where clips featuring lyrics referencing Jennie have fueled a wave of user-generated content. In today’s style, it’s the craze like this that feeds into popularity, translating into increased streaming numbers and digital sales.

This collaboration was first introduced as part of Kevin Parker’s musical project. Released on February 6, “Dracula,” quickly became Jennie’s highest-ranking song to date on the Hot 100, Billboard’s weekly ranking, rising to a new peak of No. 18 on April 7.

“Dracula” has also dominated multiple Billboard rankings, including Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Rock & Alternative Airplay, Rock Digital Song Sales, and Hot Alternative Songs. Its performance on Rock & Alternative Airplay places Jennie in rare company, with comparable crossover success previously seen only with “My Universe” by Coldplay and BTS.

Jennie debuted as a soloist in 2018 with the hit song "Solo," which topped Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart and amassed billions of streams globally. She later returned in late 2023 with “You & Me,” released through her own label Odd Atelier in collaboration with Columbia Records.

Her debut studio album "Ruby," released on March 7, 2025, features 15 tracks and a roster of high-profile collaborations, including Childish Gambino, Dua Lipa, and Kali Uchis. Among its highlights, the single “ExtraL,” featuring Doechii, climbed to No. 18 on the Billboard Global 200 and secured top-ten positions across multiple Asian markets.
