TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gold price continues to rise, proving the precious metals' strength as an investment instrument amid an uncertain economy. The retail price of gold bullion produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) rose again on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, reaching Rp2,016,000 per gram, up by Rp36,000 from yesterday's price.
Since the beginning of April 2025, Antam gold has climbed by Rp190,000 per gram. On April 1, the price stood at Rp1,826,000 per gram.
The following is the complete list of Antam gold bullion prices per Pegadaian’s official website for today's trading:
- 0.5 gram: Rp1,058,000
- 1 gram: Rp2,016,000
- 2 grams: Rp3,972,000
- 3 grams: Rp5,933,000
- 5 grams: Rp9,855,000
- 10 grams: Rp19,655,000
- 25 grams: Rp49,012,000
- 50 grams: Rp97,945,000
- 100 grams: Rp195,812,000
- 250 grams: Rp489,265,000
- 500 grams: Rp978,320,000
- 1,000 grams: Rp1,956,600,000
Meanwhile, Antam’s buyback price today stands at Rp1,865,000 per gram, also reflecting a Rp36,000 increase from yesterday.
Buyback pricing follows Finance Minister Regulation No. 34/PMK.10/2017. Gold bullion sold back to PT Antam Tbk. in amounts exceeding Rp10 million is subject to income tax (PPh) Article 22. The rate is 1.5% for holders of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP), and 3% for those without one.
