TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Several airlines provide meals for their passengers, offering a wide variety of options, including those tailored for special diets. To determine which airline delivers the best in-flight meals, YouGov Surveys: Self-serve recently conducted a survey.
According to the survey, Emirates topped the list as the airline with the best snacks and beverages.
A strong 84 percent of respondents gave favorable reviews for the airline’s snacks and drinks, while 85 percent were satisfied with the overall food quality. Notably, nearly half of the respondents, or 43 percent, rated the airline's snacks as excellent.
In second place is Qatar Airways, which was named the best airline in the world in 2024. Eighty-three percent of passengers gave a positive rating for the snacks, and 82 percent were pleased with the in-flight food.
Below is a list of the airlines that offer the best food according to YouGov Surveys: Self-serve:

9. Ryanair
Third place is occupied by Virgin Atlantic, based in Crawley, West Sussex, England. Almost three-quarters, or 74 percent of the passengers, rated the snacks and drinks as good, and 73 percent were pleased with the in-flight food.
British Airways ranked fourth, with 61 percent of its passengers giving a positive rating for the airline's snacks and drinks, while 63 percent gave favorable feedback on the food.
Meanwhile, the airline with the worst food offerings is Ryanair. Only 21 percent of the respondents found the snacks and drinks of the airline tasty, and more than 41 percent considered the food to be bad. As for the in-flight food, only 17 percent of the passengers were pleased, while 50 percent stated that the food of the low-cost airline was not good.
Wizz Air also fared poorly with only 25 percent of the respondents being pleased with the snacks and drinks served on the low-cost airline. The in-flight food also failed to impress, with 40 percent of the respondents considering it to be bad.
easyJet is also at the third bottom position with only 35 percent of the respondents rating the snacks and drinks of this airline as good. They were also unimpressed with the in-flight food provided by the airline, which was only enjoyed by 29 percent of the respondents.
