TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, the latest addition to the My Hero Academia universe, officially premiered on April 15, 2025. This anime film is both a spin-off and a prequel to Kohei Horikoshi’s acclaimed series.
As quoted from Fandom, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is a manga spin-off written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, originally published in Shonen Jump Giga before moving to the Shonen Jump+ app.
The manga was published by Tetsuya Sato, the editor of My Hero Academia, who wanted to create a spin-off from the main series.

Synopsis
As reported by Antara, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes focuses on the story of Koichi Haimawari, a young man with a simple Quirk called Sliding, who chooses to become a vigilante to protect the public.
