TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Director of PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) Grandy Prajayakti has resigned from his position. This resignation occurred approximately two weeks after the entertainment issuer owned by Raffi Ahmad carried out the initial public offering (IPO) of shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
The Finance Director of RANS, Rumunggu Yokonapita, stated that the company received a resignation letter from Grandy on July 22, 2026. "The resignation was submitted on the basis of personal reasons," Rumunggu said in a disclosure of information, quoted on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
Furthermore, RANS will hold a General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) to request approval from shareholders for the resignation of Grandy Prajayakti. Rumunggu stated that the resignation does not have a material impact on the operational activities, legal condition, financial condition, and the company's business continuity.
PT Rans Entertainment Indonesia Tbk conducted the initial public offering of shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Friday, July 10, 2026. "I want to prove that a big name can be a legacy vehicle that can be managed for something good," said Raffi Ahmad in a press conference at the Indonesia Stock Exchange building, Jakarta, on Friday, July 10, 2026.
At the opening of trading on July 10, 2026, RANS' stock price soared 34.12 percent from the offered price of Rp170 per share to Rp228 per share. On Friday, July 24, 2026, RANS' stock price was observed to drop 6.96 percent to Rp214 per share.
