Muslim World League Plans to Build Prophet Museum in Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Muslim World League plans to build a museum of prophets in Jakarta after meeting with President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on December 4, 2025.

Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak conveyed the plan while accompanying President Prabowo in receiving the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.

"It is dedicated to the Muslim community in Indonesia," said Dahnil at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday, December 4, 2025.

In the meeting, Dahnil stated that Muhammad conveyed that Indonesia has strong influence to ensure peace worldwide, especially in the Islamic world. The Muslim World League appreciates President Prabowo's efforts in supporting peace in Gaza.

"It could become the face of the Islamic world in the future. The roles and leadership of President Prabowo today have tremendous influence. Hopefully, the qibla of peace in the Islamic world can be brought by President Prabowo through Indonesia," he said.

In this meeting, Muhammad emphasized the role of Muslims in maintaining peace in the world and harmony in society. He praised Indonesia as an ideal country because it can exist amid diversity.

"We consider this model as an example that we take pride in within the framework of our Islam," said Muhammad.
