Jakarta (ANTARA) - Lagu berjudul "Juice" dari album "Cuz I Love You" milik penyanyi dan penulis lagu asal Amerika Serikat Melissa Vivianne Jefferson, atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Lizzo, meluncur video musiknya di Youtube pada 4 Januari 2019.

Video musik "Juice" telah ditonton lebih dari 130 juta kali di YouTube dan telah menerima pujian dari para kritikus musik.

Dalam istilah bahasa Inggris menurut kamus Merriam-Webster, "Juice" memiliki arti yaitu "kekuatan atau faktor yang memotivasi, memberi inspirasi, atau memungkinkan".

Lagu funk-pop yang terinspirasi dari gaya retro itu adalah lagu yang dimaksudkan untuk memotivasi orang-orang mencintai diri mereka sendiri. Sehingga dalam video musik lagu itu, Lizzo tampil percaya diri dan energik.

Lagu itu menjadi yang

kedua terakhir ditulis Lizzo untuk albumnya yang ketiga "Cuz I Love You", tepat sebelum "Soulmate". Lizzo menulis lagu tersebut bersama Theron Thomas, yang merupakan salah satu dari duo penulis lagu di grup hip-hop Rock City, Ricky Reed yang sebelumnya ikut menulis singel Lizzo berjudul "Truth Hurts" dan kini menjadi produser dan penulis lagu "Juice". Kemudian dengan Sean Small dan Sam Sumser.
