TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in Jakarta, Akhmad Rofiq, is optimistic that the customs revenue collection in Jakarta this year will exceed the target of Rp3.35 trillion. As of December 3, 2025, the customs revenue collection in Jakarta has reached Rp3.18 trillion or 94.76 percent.
"We estimate that by the end of this year, we will be able to achieve 100 percent, and hopefully, we can even achieve around 102 percent of our prediction," he said in a press conference at his office on December 3, 2025.
In addition to customs and excise, the total import tax (PDRI) has reached Rp8.22 trillion. "So, the total amount we have collected until the end of November from customs duties, excise, and taxes is Rp11.4 trillion," he said.
Throughout 2025, the government aims to increase total state revenue from the customs and excise sector to Rp301 trillion. Up to the end of October 2025, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise under the Ministry of Finance has collected Rp249.3 trillion, or 80.3 percent of the outlook.
The Director General of Customs and Excise, Djaka Budi Utama, stated that excise duty contributed the most at Rp184.2 trillion. Following that, the outflow duty was around Rp24 trillion, and the inflow duty was Rp41 trillion.
According to Djaka, as of October, the Directorate General of Customs and Excise had confiscated nearly 954 million illegal cigarettes, bringing the total number of cases to 15,845. This is an increase of more than 40 percent compared to the previous year. "An achievement that reflects the increasing awareness, collaboration, and effectiveness of Customs and Excise operations throughout Indonesia," he said.
