15 hours ago 1

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Fuel prices at service stations operated by state-owned gas giant Pertamina, Shell, and BP have held steady through the final week of July 2026, despite a surge in global crude oil prices.

As reported by news agency Antara, Pertamina's official website in Jakarta indicated on Monday, July 27, 2026, that retail fuel prices have remained unchanged since July 1, 2026.

Current rates stand at Rp10,000 per liter for subsidized fuel Pertalite, Rp6,800 per liter for subsidized diesel, Rp16,250 per liter for Pertamax (RON 92), Rp19,300 per liter for Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), Rp17,000 per liter for Pertamax Green (RON 95), Rp19,700 per liter for Dexlite, and Rp21,150 per liter for Pertamina Dex.

Meanwhile, gas stations of private fuel retailer Shell, which faced fuel supply shortages earlier in 2026, are now offering V-Power Diesel. The price for V-Power Diesel at Shell outlets has been set at Rp21,340 per liter since July 1, 2026.

Similarly, prices at gas stations of private fuel retailer BP have held firm, even following earlier adjustments for gasoline products like BP Ultimate and BP 92, which compete with Pertamax and Pertamax Green. Rates at BP stations are currently priced at Rp17,240 per liter for BP Ultimate, Rp16,670 per liter for BP 92, and Rp21,340 per liter for BP Ultimate Diesel.

Global crude benchmark prices jumped by over 3 percent during trading last Wednesday, with Brent crude breaching US$94 per barrel.

Trading data through Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:36 p.m. WIB showed September contracts for Brent crude gaining 3.38 percent from the previous close to hit US$94.09 per barrel. By Monday, Brent crude prices had adjusted to settle at around US$85 per barrel.
