Fact Check: Are These BLT Registration Links for July-August 2026 Legit?

2 hours ago 2

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta A number of Facebook accounts are sharing information about registering for Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for the July–August 2026 period. Most of the posts feature a similar poster: an animation of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka in blue.

The content was shared by several accounts, including account 1 [archive], account 2, and account 3. These accounts include links to specific websites for accessing Rp900,000 in aid. The websites listed include daftarbansoskemensos.com, bantubansospkh.com, registernewri.com, digitals-ri.com, and bansos.online.

However, are these websites truly official channels for registering for government social assistance?

FACT CHECK

Tempo collected 22 Facebook accounts that were spreading information about registering for social assistance for the July–August 2026 period. Tempo then analyzed the credibility of these accounts and websites by comparing them with the official government website. Verification results show that the account and site are fake.

Official government websites always use the .go.id domain, such as the Ministry of Social Affairs' website at kemensos.go.id. Without a .go.id domain, the website is guaranteed to be fake. Besides its website, the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs only has one official Facebook account with a blue checkmark and 381,000 followers.

The Ministry of Social Affairs stated that residents wishing to register for social assistance must come to the village or sub-district office with their Family Card (KK) and ID card. In addition to registering in person, registration can be done through the Cek Bansos app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Deliberations at the village and sub-district level will determine whether a resident's application is approved or rejected.

Fake Accounts Created in July 2026

Of the 22 accounts collected by Tempo, all were not official government or Ministry of Social Affairs accounts because they used different names. Therefore, these accounts were identified as fake. Judging by the time of their creation, all accounts were newly created near the time the content was disseminated. The breakdown is as follows: 1 account was created in May 2026, 2 accounts in June 2026, and 19 accounts were created on July 18, 2026.

To deceive users, these accounts used variations of terms such as "bansos," "bantuan," "kemensos," "digitisasi," and "2026." The term "bansos" was most frequently used by 15 accounts, followed by "bantuan" by 10 accounts. All accounts used personal profiles, not government organizations. Another oddity was that most of the accounts had fewer than 50 followers.

Fake Sites

The 22 accounts shared links to 14 different websites. However, all of the sites differed from the official website of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, and none used the .go.id domain.

Analysis using the website credibility testing tool URLScan.io shows that several sites, such as cek-status-terbaru.com and register-new.com, are categorized as malicious.

From their creation dates, 10 sites were created in 2026 and 3 in 2025. These sites are older than the accounts they share, such as digitals-ri.com, which was registered on December 20, 2025. The site was shared by four fake accounts created in July 2026.

Here is a list of the 22 accounts with shared links:
