TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Indonesia's state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, through its subsidiary Pertamina Patra Niaga, is offering a jet fuel (avtur) discount to support people's mobility during the 2026 Eid holiday.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, this move is part of the tangible support for the government to maintain airfare stability and ensure that aviation services remain affordable during Eid al-Fitr holiday season.

"The adjustment comes in the form of a 10 percent discount for jet fuel prices across 37 airports," Roberth said in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday, March 12, 2026, as quoted by Antara.

He hopes that this measure will help airlines optimize operational costs during the peak Eid homecoming season. He expressed that through this policy, Pertamina Patra Niaga aims to provide tangible support for airlines to streamline operational costs, so that the public can benefit from more competitive ticket prices during the Eid travel period.

Pertamina Patra Niaga also ensures that the national fuel reserves remain safe with an average of more than 30 days.

All aviation fuel terminals (AFT) operate with full emergency response teams to ensure smooth distribution and service during the Eid al-Fitr travel period.

"We are committed to ensuring the supply of aviation energy remains intact, so that the public can travel safely, comfortably, and smoothly during the moment of togetherness on Eid al-Fitr," Roberth said.
