Visitors can immerse themselves in the cultural richness here, which also emphasizes respect for the elderly, by visiting historical temples, sacred places, and traditional environments like Gion and Higashiyama.
4. Taipei, Taiwan
Taipei has adopted the WHO's age-friendly city version since 2012. From transportation and housing to social inclusion and community participation, everything is already available. They have also built senior service centers and special eateries for the elderly. Places that can be visited by the elderly include the Taipei 101 Observatory, the National Palace Museum, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, as well as the Maokong Gondola. 5. Seoul, South Korea
