TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the new office for Danantara Investment Management Agency at Jalan Gatot Subroto Kav. 36-38, South Jakarta, on Monday, June 30, 2025 On this occasion, Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani said the agency will lead Indonesia towards its 8 percent economic growth target.
"With the existence of Danantara, God willing, we can accelerate Indonesia's economic development, aiming for 8 percent growth in accordance with the President's directive," said Rosan, quoted from his written statement.
He said that the new Danantara office would become the home for the business world, academia, and stakeholders to collaborate towards the goal of Golden Indonesia 2045.
The inauguration of Wisma Danantara was also attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, members of the Red and White Cabinet, heads of agencies, and Danantara's management.
Currently, Danantara manages assets of more than US$1 trillion and oversees 889 strategically valuable State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). Rosan said that this responsibility will be carried out to the best of their ability.
Rosan said Danantara is committed to upholding the constitutional mandate, especially Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution, in managing natural resources for the prosperity of the people. "What is happening is a prominent responsibility. We are fully committed to carrying out this mandate to the best of our ability," he said.
During the event, Rosan highlighted Danantara's achievements since its official launch by President Prabowo on February 24, 2025. Danantara has already secured international investment cooperation worth US$7 billion from Qatar, Russia, China, and Australia.
